NMS Supports Rural Revitalization: “Dream Field” Yields Abundant Harvest

On December 5th, Bakou Village in Changjun Township, Anyi County, Nanchang, held the 2024 “Dream Field” Land Lease Rice Distribution Ceremony. Nanchang Mineral Systems Co., Ltd. (NMS), as one of the tenants, was invited to participate.

As early as December 2023, NMS actively responded to the national call for “rural revitalization and consumer assistance” and signed a land lease agreement with the Professional Cooperative for Integrated Farming and Breeding in Bakenkou Village. The company leased 50 acres of rice paddies to facilitate the effective integration of poverty alleviation achievements with rural revitalization efforts. Through the diligence of spring planting and the joy of autumn harvest, the villagers of Bakou nurtured a season of rich yields with their hard work and dedication. As a reward, NMS received 10,000 kilograms (10 metric tons) of premium, eco-friendly, and pollution-free rice.

The “Dream Field” project, a flagship initiative developed by Bakou Village, aims to not only consolidate and expand the positive outcomes of poverty alleviation but also promote rural industrial revitalization. In 2024, the project leased 144 acres of rice paddies, benefiting 18 households who previously lived in poverty, generating nearly 400,000 yuan in collective income for the village. Notably, the profits from this leasing project will directly benefit these households through labor rewards, fulfilling small personal wishes, and other means, improving their quality of l ife.

“Bringing nature’s beauty to the dining table and letting dreams take flight,” NMS’s active participation in the “Dream Field” project reflects its commitment to rural revitalization while also providing healthy, green ecological rice for its employees. This initiative represents a dual enhancement of social benefits and corporate welfare.

These initiatives have not only brought tangible benefits to Bakou Village but also significantly boosted the morale of the villagers in their production and daily lives.

After all impoverished households in Bakou Village successfully overcame poverty in 2019, NMS continued its assistance to ensure the sustainability of these achievements and to support the village on its path toward greater prosperity.
