NMS Attended 2020 National Conference on Comprehensive Utilization of Mineral Resources

In order to effectively solve the problems of solid waste treatment in mining enterprises and smelters, promote advanced and applicable technologies for tailings solid waste recycling, assist mining and metallurgy enterprises to formulate overall technical solutions for solid waste recycling, and solve high-quality green recycling sustainable development of local industries, 2020 national conference on comprehensive utilization of mineral resources was held in Tongguan County, Shaanxi Province from September 27 to 29. Nanchang Mineral Systems Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “NMS”) was invited to it.

The theme of the conference is “innovation drives development, recycling leads future”. At the conference, Sun Jidong, Deputy General Manager of Domestic Sales Company and General Manager of Mining Business Unit of NMS was delivering a speech entitled “comprehensive utilization of mineral resources and development of mineral processing technology and equipment”.

He said that according to relevant data, the cumulative storage of tailings and waste rock in China was nearly 60 billion tons, of which the storage of tailings and waste rock that could be used for aggregates production was about 12.118 billion tons and 32.85 billion tons respectively. Under the new economic situation, there would be new challenges, such as the treatment of tailings, the capacity of tailings pond and the new approval of tailings pond. At the same time, it also brought the new opportunity, that was, used tailings to produce sand and aggregates for comprehensive utilization of mineral resources.

He believed that restorative mining would become a new way of sand and aggregates supply. Under this condition, mining machinery manufacturing equipment needed to combine the development needs of green mining and use advanced technology to realize automation and intelligence of large-scale equipment to maximize the value of resources.
