NMS: Counterpart Assistance Shows Responsibility

A few days ago, Rao Shaoqing, member of the Standing Committee of Nanchang Municipal Party Committee & Director of the United Front Work Department of Nanchang Municipal Party Committee, and his delegation went to Bakou Village, Changjun Township, Anyi County (hereinafter referred to as “Bakou Village”) to visit and survey consolidation and expansion of the achievements of poverty alleviation and rural revitalization. Luo Sihe, Deputy Director of Happiness Enterprise Construction Committee of Nanchang Mineral Systems Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “NMS”) and others accompanied the visit.  

Before Dragon Boat Festival, NMS went to Bakou Village to give rice, oil, milk and other living materials to the poor family so that they could feel the warmth and love in advance.

The action of tens of thousands of enterprises prospering villages is an important decision made by the Party Central Committee based on the reality of China’s agricultural and rural development and focusing on the characteristics and advantages of private enterprises. It is an integral part of the rural revitalization strategy, a driving force for building a new development pattern, and a crucial starting point for promoting two sound development. NMS responds positively and takes the initiative to fulfill its mission of social responsibility. Since 2017, it has provided Bakou Village with counterpart assistance. It has donated money and materials to Bakou Village for many times, visited families in need, sent poverty alleviation funds and wishes to vulnerable groups, purchased free range duck to help the breeding industry, and helped the rural revitalization with practical actions.

It is understood that there are 7 natural villages and 14 village groups in Bakou Village, with a total of 1819 people in 599 households, and 39 people in 17 poor households. In 2018, Bakou Village successfully withdrew from the poor. By 2019, all the poor households have been lifted out of poverty, realizing stable and sustainable poverty alleviation for all the poor households and the poor population in the village. According to statistics, the per capita income of poverty-stricken households in Bakou Village has gradually increased from 4621 yuan in 2015 to 19200 yuan in 2021, exceeding the provincial poverty alleviation income 13000-yuan-standard -line. At present, there are four industrial projects in Bakou Village, namely, wormwood planting, dreamland, three-dimensional planting & breeding, and fruit picking. In 2021, the collective income of the village exceeded 350000 yuan.  

At the same time of development, private enterprises should also remember great power of the country. NMS will always bear in mind its social responsibility, actively participate in counterpart assistance with a high sense of social responsibility and mission, revitalize the countryside with a strong heart, benefit the people with hospitality, and make due contributions to consolidating and expanding the achievements of poverty alleviation and fully promoting rural revitalization.
